Photo Restorations
Here's a sampling of typical restoration requests I receive. The originals are photographed and stored. Once the corrections are made, the renewed photo can be printed, and both versions are preserved as file images.

Color Correction
Photos from the 70's are notorious for shifting to red as they age. Basic color correction can bring a color photo back to life.

Damaged, Subtle colorizing added
Simple cracks and damage to paper are easily fixed with careful work

Scratches, Dirt, Fading
This lovely 1943 photo was generally well preserved, but suffered from dirt accumulation and a few scratches

Photocopied Photograph
Photocopying was once considered a quick way to share and consolidate photographs. This is ALWAYS a mistake. Restoring the image to the original is nearly impossible, but one can get close.

Severe Cracking and fading
This well-loved graduation photo suffered from considerable exposure wear and cracking. Fixing the damage took patience and meticulous hand retouching to match everything.

Hand Painted, Faded Photo
A photo from over 100 years ago. The original was hand colored, and the entire photo has suffered considerable fading and damage over time.
